About Us

Wellness Services is located in Downtown Flint. It's a safe space where individuals and couples can get tested for HIV and STIs and get free condoms and lube. Members of the LGBT community can drop-in and hang out, attend educational workshops, help plan and attend events, use a computer or watch some television. We are here to be a space that you can be yourself without concerns.

HIV Testing

HIV & STI TESTING

Confidential rapid HIV testing (20 mins.) and STI testing for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Trichomonas.

LGBT Safe Space and Computer Access

LGBT SAFE SPACE

Our Safe Space provides monthly events, computer access, resource assistance, and workshops.

HIV Positive Support Groups

Support Groups

We facilitate weekly support groups for those living with HIV.

Syringe Exchange Program

STEP

Every Wednesday from 4 - 7 PM we provide access to clean syringes and naloxone/narcan rescue kits.

Linkage to other community organizations to help facilitate a network of resources for those in need.

LGBT SAFE SPACE

Monthly Events

We hold monthly events such as movie nights and game nights, all based around a theme. Food, drinks, and HIV testing are all offered for free.

Computer Access

Computers are available for doing homework, creating resumes, applying for jobs, and checking social media and emails.

Resource Assistance

Food access is provided to those in need, bus passes and some transportation assistance, as well as linkage to other community based organizations.

Workshops

Workshops and educational sessions based around LGBT identity, race, and economic status are held to help empower those who have historically had to overcome challenges of discrimination.
