Primary Care

HIV

Primary care clinicians are available to evaluate HIV-infected patients at all stages of HIV infection. Patients who have contracted HIV should immediately access primary care. The treatment of HIV has continued to make large strides in reducing mortality and increase the number of stable patients.

LGBT

Primary care for LGBT patients in most ways is exactly the same for other patients. The LGBT community has access to quality health care and should understand the elevated physical and mental health risks such as suicide, HIV, cancer, and other chronic diseases.
